Mind Recovery is a Melbourne-based service that provides unique, holistic approach to supporting people with disability. We offer a range of services including positive behaviour support, specialised support coordination, assistance in coordinating of managing life stages and supports, management of medication and therapeutic supports.

If you are looking for a service that provides you with the opportunity to develop a daily care and life skills plan we may be able to help. We also provide community nursing care that includes assist with medication management, therapeutic support and development of daily care skills.

Behaviour Support Practitioners in Melbourne

At Mind Recovery, we draw on a range of professional specialist skills to create individualised behaviour management plans that meet the needs of both clients, and the support team as well as NDIS legislative requirements.

Our Behaviour Support Practitioners have a range of clinical backgrounds and have completed additional training in behaviour analysis and the management of complex behaviours.

Pooja Saini

Pooja has over 16 years’ experience in the health sector, working across the disciplines of Public Health, Mental Health and Emergency Care. She has worked as the Associate Nurse Unit Manager for number of years in Public Mental Health services.

Pooja’s qualifications include:

  • Registered Nurse (AHPRA)
  • Nurse Practitioner Endorsement (AHPRA)
  • Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (NDIS)
  • Masters in nursing Nurse Practitioner

Gurnam Singh Saini 
– Behaviour Support Practitioner

With 16 years of experience in Mental Health Nursing, Gurnam Saini has worked across diverse healthcare settings, including public and private hospitals, community mental health services, and disability support environments. He has also held roles as a Support Coordinator and Internal Auditor, strengthening his expertise in service coordination and compliance within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Currently, Gurnam is a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Mind Recovery, where he applies his extensive knowledge in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), crisis de-escalation, and trauma-informed care to improve outcomes for individuals with complex behaviours.
